Our blog has had a lot of traffic this week and with that traffic came a lot of email updates. Check out the Directory for changes and additions you might be interested in.
As you may recall, our 10-year reunion fell apart due to a hurricane in July 2005. When we rescheduled it for November 2005, the attendance wasn’t nearly as high as it would have been. We kind of got cheated!
So, what do you all think of a 15-year reunion in 2010 (yes, next year)? Nothing fancy, nothing expensive. Just a weekend to reconnect. For example, the NHS Class of 1992 had a non-formal reunion aboard a Destin dinner cruise.
Post a comment. Let us know if you’re in favor of a 15-year reunion and, if so, your suggestions on when and where. I expect a lot of feedback, so don’t be shy! Thanks!
All your dreams have come true and we now have a photo gallery! You will find the gallery in the right-hand column of the blog, near the bottom. There are pictures from when we were in elementary school through our 10th reunion. So, nothing from the past four years. However, if you’d like to add any pictures, feel free to email them to nhs@saczynski.com. Be sure to include the year the photo was taken. Also, at least one 1995 graduate must be in each picture. So, if you want to post a picture of your precious offspring, you need to be in the picture with them.
For a small town, Niceville High School sure does produce a lot of fame! Have I missed anyone on this list? Also, does anyone know the graduation years of these people? If so, please post a comment.

I just realized how depressing this blog is so far. Sorry! I just wanted to make sure the obituary information wasn’t lost when the old site is permanently deleted next week.
I would love to have happy announcements! So, if you recently got engaged, married, had a baby, moved, tried out for a reality TV show, or have anything else exciting to share, please email me (nhs@saczynski.com). Feel free to include some photos!
The Taylor Haugen Foundation was created to honor the memory of the 15-year-old Niceville High School student who passed away after an injury sustained during a football game on August 30, 2008.
In spirit of Taylor’s extraordinary character, the mission of the foundation is to provide scholarships to faith-based, outgoing, community-oriented, academically-proficient athletes in the local community.
This foundation will emulate all of Taylor’s wonderful qualities – his devotion to his faith, family, friends, academics, sports, and most importantly, his mantra of ‘Don’t Quit – Never Give Up.’
Please visit taylorhaugen.org for more information and/or to make a donation.
